Genisys ARCt is looking for a people-focused Community Engagement Volunteer to work with various community groups, charities, GP Surgeries and Care Homes within Birmingham, as part of The Advice & Support services.

As a Community Engagement Volunteer you will:

  • Manage and develop effective partnerships with around 150 community groups, colleges, care homes and other networks.
  • Promote volunteer opportunities and community involvement through a range of channels such as social media.
  • Have an understanding and the ability to engage with communities of culturally diverse backgrounds and work with a wide range of people.
  • Take ownership of role within a small team delivering projects.
  • Lead on and develop a remote volunteering programme in response to COVID-19 restrictions, including the production of relevant service level agreements and information sheets.
  • Train and motivate volunteers and other members.

The role requires someone who has excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of team.

ADVICE & SUPPORT


ADMINISTRATOR VOLUNTEER

Genisys ARCt are looking for an Advice & Support Administrator Volunteer. You will provide support to the team by acting as a first point of contact for our clients, wider community and organisations, whilst gaining valuable admin experience.

As an Advice & Support Administrator Volunteer you will:

  • Carry out pre assessments with clients and completely necessary form, prior to consultation.
  • Provide initial quotes, process images and take payments.
  • Follow up with clients, chase progress of their case and collate feedback about our services.
  • Maintain accurate entry of data and enquiry information into our internal systems whilst adhering to company policies.
  • Manage paper and digital files in an organised manner.
  • Answer client enquiries by phone or email, provide efficient customer service and update our active mailing lists.
  • Schedule appointments with clients.

Research latest update to UK Welfare Benefit laws and legislation.

The role requires someone who has excellent organisational, planning and analytical skills as well as great verbal and written communication skills.

DIGITAL MARKETING


ASSISTANT VOLUNTEER

Genisys ARCt are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant Volunteer to help us increase our online presence and engagement. Working in a small team, this is a great opportunity for someone to bring ideas and enthusiasm to the role.
As a Digital Marketing Assistant Volunteer you will:

  • Schedule posts for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Produce copy/content for the website.
  • Understand the concepts of digital marketing.
  • Respond to social media enquiries.
  • Adhere to our content plan, ensuring to deliver content regularly.
  • Maintain and expand our online presence, whilst championing partner organisations and charities.
  • Work within a small team and reguarly circulate social media activity and feedback to team.

The role requires someone with either 6 months minimum experience in a social media/digital role or be a recent Marketing graduate. You must be a creative thinker with plenty of ideas, willingness to experiment, and the drive to see ideas to implementation. Experience with photo or video editing is desirable.
